Lauren Weinstein - Cartoonist, Educator, Creator “Normal Person"
"The practices I’ve learned from Meg provide me with the foundation to do things I never thought I could do. Because I don't have to deal with chronic pain anymore, I don't have to feel like I have to take a break or reconstruct my life around pain management. I can be bold about the choices that I make and the chances I take in my career. To be a freelance artist, to have two children (the second one of which came along after I started working with Meg) and to now have a book deal where 5 years ago I had life-saving emergency surgery, to have all of the tools and the functional strength I've created working with Meg, allows me to work through challenges as they arise as opposed to being stopped by them or having them sideline my career."

"My life today is so vastly different than it was in 2014 when I first began working with Meg. Our time together has spanned postpartum recovery for a vaginal birth, a c-section, and pre- and post-op recovery from intensive abdominal cancer surgery. Working alongside Meg, I not only strengthened and aligned my body but she coached me as I deeply connected my mind and my body. It was this skill that actually allowed me to self-diagnose my cancer in 2018. Meg and I prepared for my abdominal surgery by reducing inflammation and strengthening my core and after surgery we simply began by breathing. Recovery was one-step-at-a-time, but I quickly worked my way back to my full routine and soon surpassed it. I am beyond grateful for Meg’s insight and knowing. She is deeply dedicated and connected to her work and clients; she has a true gift. Today I am strong, healthy, and cancer-free. And that’s not all — through Meg’s work and our years together, I now know what my body needs. I have learned to deeply listen and following my own inner knowing. Meg is a godsend, and working with her is life-changing."

“ZooCore helped us create a schedule during the pandemic and gave us an invaluable foundation to build the day around. It also gave my daughter a social circle she looked forward to seeing every day. When everything was disrupted, the program was a constant she looked forward to daily. With so much distance learning that’s self-directed, having an interactive part of the day made her happier, gave her confidence and taught her so much that will stay with her (welcomely) long-lastingly. She’s still using all the moves — she’s been demonstrating her skills on the boat dock where we’re staying this summer. We are excited for Zoo Core's Broadway Summer!”

"I was on a natural high after my first OYogaexperience. Not only was it fascinating to learn about the centuries-old history of yogaand tantra from Meg, but also it was invigorating doing it and reconnecting with my body. Meg has a great fun-loving personality and you can tell that she really cares about teaching people this very special, ancient method of reconnecting with mind, body and soul to help them improve all aspects of their life."
